He is survived by: his wife Janice Scherbring; his children, Julie Wessel (Steve), Terrie Elledge (Randy), Lori Elledge (Tim) and Chad Scherbring; his grandchildren, Shanna Sperfslage, Shane Wessel (Abby), Lindsey Sherman (Adam), Courtney Reinsmoen (Rob), Dylan Elledge (Gina), Kelsey Schuster (Cory), Dustin Elledge and Ashley Crowder (CK); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Tessa Sperfslage, Ethan, Alli, Avery Reinsmoen, Wyhett Fogel, Waylon, Wiley Elledge, Harlan, Harlow Wessel, Trey, Marlee and Maggie Crowder; his siblings, Urban Scherbring, Paul Scherbring (Verna), Fritz Scherbring (Florence), Myra Rausch (Joe) and Mae Eunice Scherbring; his parents-in-law, Harry and Alvina Barnhart; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Royalty (Denny), Marge Moser (Julius), Jeanne Amsden, Ruth Harbaugh (Dan), Donna Sadewasser (Delos) and Lowell Barnhart (Edith). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
