She is survived by: her husband Floyd Sampson of Colesburg; her children, Perry Sampson (Elaine) of Colesburg, Lynne Melchert (Doug) of Hopkinton and Mary Jo Larsen (Chris) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Dustin Melchert (Courtney), Tyler Melchert (Haley), Stefanie Sampson (Justin Moos), Jaclyn Reilly (Brent), Clayton Larsen and Brandon Larsen; her great grandchildren, Merritt, Mallory, Chloe and Naomi Melchert; her siblings, Janet Larson (Ed) of Independence, Barbara Gross (Gary) of Cascade, David Timmons (Jan) of Independence and Gary Timmons (Carol) of Colesburg; and her siblings-in-law, Ardyce Wilson of Princeton, Kansas and Milton Sampson (Kitty) of Ottawa, Kansas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colesburg Methodist Church (416 1st St, Colesburg, IA 52035). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Zion Cemetery (2810 IA-3, Colesburg, IA 52035).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Zion Cemetery or the Colesburg Library.
