She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Koeneke and Gertrude Koeneke (Barnhart); her husband Paul Diers; her daughter Patricia Steil; and her sisters, Marge Ozburn and Nancy Squires.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Holland (Thomas); her grandchildren, David Steil, Jennifer Holland, Amy Kephart, Michael Holland, Doug Steil, Andrew Holland, Candice Burris and Crystal Whilden; her son-in-law David Steil of Colesburg; and also Sue Hamilton (John) of Virginia Beach.
