He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn and Elizabeth Fern Henning (Norton); his brother Russ; his wife Marjorie Catherine Brush Harms; his siblings, Jim Henning, Betty Grattan (Bob), Carolyn Blumenshine and Pat Kruse; his stepdaughter Ardith Magnuson; his stepgrandson Kyle Nelson; his brother-in-law Butch Mather; and his brother Lloyd Brush (Florence).
He is survived by: his daughters, Nikki Dierzen (Robert) and Sarah Dannenberg; his stepchildren, Nancy Jennings (Jon), Marcene Nelson (John), Joyce Nehring (Mel) and Gary Harms (Rhoni); his stepson-in-law Daryl Magnuson; his siblings, Virgil Henning (Sandy), Sally Perham, Maryann Beggs (Herb) and Norma Mather; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Kruse and Bob Blumenshine. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren, 26 step great-grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren.
