James McCowen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McCowen of Coin, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McCowen and Lou Ann McCowen; his former wife Elaine Murphy of Coin; his son Jay; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Menard of San Antonio, TX; his sisters, Betty Parman of Maryville, MO and Beverly Moe of Des Moines, IA; and his children, Kris (Anita), Kirk (Deborah) and Karla Driskell (Bill). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines will need to be followed during the visitation and we also ask that all those attending wear a mask.
Memorials may be directed to the Coin Fire and Rescue Department.
