He is survived by: his wife Joan Gudenkauf of Independence; his daughters, Debra Brincks (Jerry) of Lidderdale, Doris Jacobs (Paul) of Marengo, Linda Gudenkauf (Joe Drobnick) of Bennett, Betty Hessseling (Don) of Waterloo and Tammy Gudenkauf of North Liberty; his daughters-in-law, Sharla Gudenkauf of Winthrop and Kim Gudenkauf of Coggon; and his siblings, Lois Fortman (Omer) of Manchester, Virginia Kelchen (Phil) of Monticello, Jeanette Steffen of Peosta, Janet Pottebaum (Bob) of Manchester and Richard Gudenkauf (Sharon) of Dyersville. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren.
