Rosemary Short Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Short (Coggon, Iowa), born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John U. Brann and Erma R. Brann (Sommer); her husband Robert Short; her nephew Rob Short; her parents-in-law, Matt and Rose Short; and her siblings-in-law, Connie Kay Carrothers and James Short.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hudson, Amelia Wolfe, Rylee and Asher Short; her sister Kay Hoffman (Lucky) of Aurora, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Kane (Larry) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kent Carrothers of Monticello. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Patrick's Cemetery - Monti, East Buchanan FFA Chapter and Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Cedar Rapids.
