He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bolender and Geneva Bolender; his wife Kathy Diana Dunn; his siblings, Duane "Bol" Bolender and Pam; and his grandson Quincy.
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond "Don" Bolender (Tammi) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jim Bolender (Rachel) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his granddaughters, Monica, Aryeana, Riley and Cameron; and his brother Denny Bolender.
Memorials in Roger's memory may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House.
