It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Roberta Coleman of Coggon, Iowa, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Monaghan and Rosalia Monaghan (Reilly); her husband Dale; her grandson Joe Coleman; her siblings, Paul Monaghan and Joan; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Frentress, Charles, Betty Lou Coleman, George Coleman, Thomas Coleman, John Coleman and Vincent Coleman.
She is survived by: her grandson Jim (Judy); her great grandchildren, Chris (Sara) and Karen Tucker (Brett); her grandson Leo (Norma); her great grandchildren, Angie Strum (Dan) and Nicki Finger (Adam); her grandson Ed; her great grandchild Katie Grewing (Kenneth); her grandson Larry (Kim); her great grandchildren, Ashley Black (Justin), Andrew and Alisha Toomer (Alex); her grandson Don; her great grandchildren, Corey, Chad and Aaron (Rebecca); her granddaughter Rose Kane; her great grandchildren, Brett, Owen, Joel, Vince and Kevin (Jodie); her brother Bill Monaghan; her brother-in-law Gerald Dooley; and also, Maggi, Martin, Mitchell (Kaelee) and Bernadine Coleman. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren with one on the way and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings and the recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Coggon Historical Society, Monti Community Center, Coggon Opera House or to charities of their choice.
