She was predeceased by: her parents, August Heiring and Olga Heiring (Klaus); her former husband Joseph Martin Ward; her husband Richard Joseph Fangman; and her sons, Andy and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Charles, Andrew, Dennis Ward of Jefferson, Charlie Ward (Peggy) of Delhi, Paul Ward (Roxanne) of Des Moines, Frank Ward (Sheila) of Asbury, Matt Ward (Angie) of Troy Mills and Mary Jo Ver Heul (Jeff) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 26 Grandchildren & 19 Great Grandchildren.
