He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Schott and Genevieve Kleppe Schott; his brother Edward; his brother-in-law Michael; and his pet Lacy.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Doyl (Shawn); his grandsons, Austin and Colton; his brother Marland (Peg); his sister-in-law Cheryl of Coggon; his sister Diane Harding of Dalston, England.; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Doyle (David), Ed Schott, Jr. (Goeke), David Schott (Dawn), Molly Cook (Russ), Megan Toland (Josh), Alex Harding and David Harding.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
