It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Gerard Ward (Coggon, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James John and Dacia Marie Ward (Koch); and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ward of Monti; his children, Ryan Bartachek (Audrey) of Monti, Ross Bartachek (Kaitlin) of North Liberty and Molly Ward of Monti; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Jack and Rylee; and his siblings, John Ward (Pam) of Anamosa, Kim Buda (Tony) of Omaha, Mike Ward of Ryan, Mark Ward (Jen) of Prior Lake and Chris Ward (Hazel) of Maple Grove. He is also survived by 14 Nieces and Nephews.
