We bid farewell to Barbara Cook of Coggon, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Boddicker and Leota Boddicker; her husband Don Cook; her son Robb; and her brother David.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Cook (Julie) of Walker, Iowa, Jenny Michael (Daryl) of Newton, Iowa and Dawn Dvorak (Rod) of Walker, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Diane Richardson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Tanner Cook (Katie), Mason Cook (Amber), David Michael (Amanda), Daniel Michael, Nicholas Michael (Denae), Emily Calixte (Chris), Rachel Richardson, Nolan Dvorak (Riley), Chase Dvorak and Josey Stepanek (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Leah, Jerry, Marvin, Levi, Seth, Naomi, Rebekah, William, Sammy, Carter, Zyair, Veyah and Dexter; her brother Dick Boddicker (Sue); and her half-sister DiAnna Boddicker Gerdes.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Presbyterian Church (110 3rd St N, Coggon, IA 52218).
Memorial donations may be given in her name to the family to be distributed to Zion Presbyterian Church or other Coggon organizations.
