She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley Novotny and Norma Novotny (Haack); her husband Clair Svoboda; her children, Valerie Calderwood (Ryan) of North Liberty, Yvonne Fratella of Cedar Rapids, Shannon Svoboda (Brittany) of Clutier, Nichole Wander (Brad) of North Liberty and Megan Svoboda (Nate Jacobs) of Johnston; her grandchildren, Chase, Tatum Calderwood, Braylon, Hayden Fratella, Riley, Lane Svoboda, Allison and Erin Wander; her sisters, Bev Colvin (Warren) of Traer, Cheryl Gibney of Cedar Rapids and Shellee Bailey (Lance) of Johnston; her sister-in-law Karen Novotny of Bellevue; her brother Robert Novotny; and her siblings-in-law, Cecila Podhajsky, Lud Svoboda and Pete "Giles" Svoboda. She was also cherished by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
