It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Agnes Kubik of Clutier, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Podhajsky and Mayme Podhajsky; her husband Freddie Kubik; and her siblings-in-law, Georgiana Uchytil, Pep Cochran, Dr. Rudy Kubik, Leonard Kubik and Tony Kubik.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kubik of Iowa City, Lori Fuller (Curtis) of Solon and Lisa Lain (Jesse) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Adam Fuller of West Branch and Ashley Slocum (Alec) of Boulder, CO; her sister Karlene Cochran of Traer; and her brother-in-law Robert Kubik (Sandra). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund will be established.
