He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Velky and Josephine Velky (Soukup); and his wife Leona Mae Velky. He is survived by: his children, Ken Velky (Laurie) of Toledo, Mary DeVries (Mike) of Warrensburg, MO., Jim Velky (Chrys) of Ogden, Julie Murray (Mike) of Marion, John Velky of Davenport and Tom Velky (Danielle) of Waverly. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Masks are required to be worn and social distancing practiced inside the funeral home and the church.
