He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Elson and Margaret R. Elson. He is survived by: his wife Susanne of Clive, IA; his siblings, Charles Elson of Madison, WI and Dorothy White (Bob) of Moline, IL; his children, Mike Elson (Wachira) of Ruskin, FL, Bill Elson (Dawn) of Norwalk, IA and Jennifer Perry (Jeff) of Ruskin, FL; and his stepdaughters, Glenda Lathrum (Clark) of Gilbert, AZ and Paula Wood (Tracy) of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
