Charles Goodman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Goodman of Clive, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Goodman and Arvella Goodman (Burke); his brother-in-law Robert Houlihan; and his father-in-law Raymond Penningroth. He is survived by: his wife Ann Goodman (Penningroth); his daughters, Meg Hewes (Daniel) of Ramstein and Rose Klingbeil (Scott) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Jack and Maggie; his siblings, Earlene Houlihan and Roger Goodman (Ginny); and his mother-in-law Rosemary Penningroth.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (610 3rd St SW, State Center, IA 50247). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ISU Foundation (Meat Science Judging) or the University of Iowa Holden Cancer Center in his honor.
