She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Sherry) and Mark (Sue); her grandchildren, Jeff (Nikki), Greg (Katie), Dan (Lisa), Stephanie Hearn (Sean) and Andy; her great grandchildren, Reed, Trey, Laney, Eli, Leah, Jack, Brody, Risette and Yuna; her sisters-in-law, Dona Opsal and Cheryl Opsal; her close friend Kim Stinson; her husband Effner; her brothers, Howard (Verneice), Randall (Harriet), Leon (Deloris) and Bob (Marylin); her siblings-in-law, Leroy Opsal, Lyndon Opsal and Muriel Brown (Melvin); her nephew William Looft; her nieces, Salli Harmon and Karen Saftner; and also, Olai and Mildred Opsal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nazareth Lutheran Church (401 5th St, Armstrong, IA 50514). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
