She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shelton and Vera Carter Shelton. She is survived by: her siblings, Jeri Johnston (Mark) and Juan Shelton (Sheila); and her nieces and nephews, Todd, Dontae, Trenton, Kamden, Tiffany, Simora and Destiney.

She researched constantly throughout the pandemic for coping cures.
