He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Spencer and Martha Spencer (Thompson); his wife Phyllis of Clinton; his children, Terri Spencer of Clinton, Steve Spencer (Robin) and Mark Spencer (Judy) of Savage, MD; his grandchildren, Christopher Spencer (Melissa) of Des Moines, IA, Kristina Erickson (Lars) of Columbia, MD and Heather Moore (Martin) of Crofton, MD; his great grandchildren, Elise, George, Will and Anja; his siblings, David Spencer of Niles, OH and Karen Reppy (Tony) of Niles, OH; his granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah; and his brother George. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Bill's name to the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN. 55905.
