He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shirley and Alberta Shirley (King); his wife Dianna; and his sister Myrna. He is survived by: his former wife Diana Chase; his children, Jeff Shirley (Sally) of Camanche, William Shirley Jr. (Michelle) of Clear Lake, MN, Susan Zmuda of Clinton and Jane Ward (Bill) of Burlington, IA; and his brothers, Butch Shirley (Karen) of Clinton and Dan Shirley of Clinton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
