He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schroeder and Louise Schroeder (Milder); his wife Maxine Subcleff; and his siblings, John, Edward, Henry, LeRoy Schroeder, Laura Turner, Minnie Meyer, Vera Migawa, Maleta Bott, Maxine Kuehl and Jeanette Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Schroeder of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Susan Luce of Dubuque, Iowa; his grandchildren, Samantha, Chandler, Nate, Rebecca and Anthony; and his sisters, Alberta Mommsen of Clinton, Clara Hall of Bullhead City and Loretta Sullivan of Clinton. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
