He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne R. and Lillian M. King, Sr. (Berry); and his stepson Bob Brown. He is survived by: his children, Varena King of Clinton, IA and Thomas King (Debra) of Camanche, IA; his grandsons, Peter Lassen, Tyson Lassen, Andrew Lassen, Thomas King, Jr. and Randy King; and his stepdaughter Carla Curtis of Clinton. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren.
