He is survived by: his children, Harmony Eccles (Jeremy) of Kansas City, Tony Kurtz (Dawna) of Fulton, Morgan Meinecke (Mike) of Ankeny, Elliot Kurtz (Madeleine Nimoy) of Los Angles, California and Sydney LaCourse Malone; and his brother Rick Kurtz of Clinton, Iowa.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
