He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Cooper (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Julie Haferbier of Clinton; his daughters, Angela "Angie" Cooper (Bob Fore) of Clinton and Jessica Melvin (Brian) of LeClaire, IA; his father Ed Cooper of Camanche; and his sister Debra Taplin (Bill) of Clinton.
