He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Tatro and Vera Tatro (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Thelma Butters of Clinton; and his children, Cecilia McNabb (Curt) of Cedar Rapids, Denise Foley of Mankato, MN, Douglas Tatro (Mary) of Rock Island, IL and James "Jay" Tatro (Daniel Venker) of Des Moines. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
