She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Zenk and Ada Zenk (Mason); and her siblings, DeLaus Zenk, Leroy Zenk, Joan Westmark and Irene Gennaro.
She is survived by: her husband James Heimbaugh of Clinton, IA; her sons, Brian Heimbaugh (Janet) of Sparta, MI, Jeffrey Heimbaugh (Lisa) of Clinton, IA and Steve Heimbaugh (Laurelle) of Winnebago, IL; and her siblings, Iona Tack (James) of Savanna, IL, Marlys Dreier of Mt. Carroll, IL and Dale Zenk of Thomson, IL.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the University of Iowa Holden Cancer Center for cancer research.
