It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald William Petersen of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Petersen and Bernice Petersen (Burkinshaw); his son-in-law Edward Rodriguez; his siblings-in-law, Joan Vogt (Carl) and Steve Morgan; and his nephew Scotty Morgan.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Cole Rodriguez, Skyler Rodriguez and Kyle Petersen; his wife Marilyn Knutsen; his children, Lorri Rodriguez of Clinton, Rhonda Bauer (Dennis) of DeWitt, Russell Petersen (Tracy) of DeWitt and Kelly Greenwalt (Bill) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Gabriel Rodriguez, Austin Bauer (Jennie), Whitney Altenhofen (Andy), Courtney Stecklein (Derek), Erin, McKenna and Jamie Greenwalt; his sister Jean Morgan of Camanche; and his pet Rufus. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
