It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Tonn of Clinton, Iowa, born in Sumner, Iowa, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Tonn and Gladys Tonn (Robertson); his wife Lorraine Schwan; his grandson Joel Johnson; and his sisters, Virginia Schellhorn and Marge Scharnhorst.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Johnson (Bob) of Shakopee, Minnesota, Sandra Koester (Tom) of Clinton, Iowa, Debora Jakel (Bob) of Kaukauna, Wisconsin and Penny Kozlowski (Matthew) of Somonauk, Illinois; and his siblings, Larry Tonn (Lorraine) of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Marilyn Anderson (Don) of Britt, Iowa, Ruby Johnson (Dick) of Sumner, Iowa and Shirley Bany (Bob) of Red Rock, Arizona. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
