Robert R. Jamison Obituary
Robert R. "Bob" Jamison Sr., age 65 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Mercy One. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 8th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery rural Morrison. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Bob was born in Fulton on October 15, 1953, the son of Charles Jones and Donna Jamison. He attended Camanche schools. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Bob married Nancy McCallister on June 12, 1997 in Clinton. He had been employed with O'Reilly Auto Parts. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working on cars, bowling, hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
He always had a smile on his face and would do anything for anybody. He followed the Green Bay Packers, loved home cooking and the holidays. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son; three step-daughters, Christine, Lisa and Laurie; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Theresa (Nate) Ullrich of Clinton and Hope Jones of Davenport; 2 brothers, Ronald Jones in Il, and William (Nicky) Jones of San Antonio, TX and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Arey. Visitation: Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Service: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 8th at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery rural Morrison.
