He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Lillian Johnson (Schlemme); his son Dwight; his granddaughter Jenilee; and his brothers, Jack, David and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Johnson (Janet) of Beloit, KS, Diane Reams (Richard) of Ankeny, IA, Darwin Johnson (Michelle) of Clinton and Dawn Johnson (Dennis) of Ankeny; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Grant (Marvel) of Preston, Mary Lou Johnson of Clinton, Jean Ann Johnson of Fulton and Geraldine Nolting of Bellevue, IA. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
