It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Benson of Clinton, Iowa, born in Cordova, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Benson and Gladys Benson (Genung); his former wife Lois Jenson; and his wife Rosemary Dodge. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Stauffer Sr. (Larry) and Elmer "Jim" Harris; his siblings, Ruth Kerr (Edwin) and George Kerr (Ida); and also Lynn Bray (Jim). He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
