It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Kowzic of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Kowzic and Margie Kowzic; his daughter Rhya Leigh (Andrew Castle); his wife Carla; his grandchildren, Tayton Castle, Lilly Hankins and Isaac Castle; his brothers, Bob Kowzic (Lynn) of Decatur, Ron Kowzic (Sue) of Clinton and Randy Kowzic of Clinton; his parents-in-law, Gail Thompson of Clinton, Leo and Christine Rickertsen of Eagan; and his close friend Jim "Brydie" Bryden. He was also cherished by his dad, brothers, and friends, driving his mom.
