He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Libby and Betty Libby (Sandy); his wife Sandra McClusky; and his son Matthew. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Libby (Lora Lee Tucker) of Austin, TX; his adoptive daughter Kharma Libby (Joey Hartshorn) of Orion, IL; his great grandchildren, Tatum Libby, Atreus and Raven Marie Smith; and his brother Steven Libby of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Richard's name may be made to the Felix Adler Children's Discovery Center.
