He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Roberts and Ann Roberts (Maricle); his wife Nancy Ruth Opheim; his brother Tom Roberts; his sister-in-law Judith Brady Roberts; and his grandson Josiah Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Letcher (Wesley) of Fulton, Karen Metheny (Mike) of Lexington, Patrick Roberts (Sue) and Susan Roberts of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Nathan Letcher, JulieAnne Metheny (Patrick Calligan), Zachary Metheny, Johanna Stover (Tyler), Christian Roberts (Maria), Ryan Roberts and Isabel Roberts; his siblings, Harry Roberts (Jackie), Jim Roberts, Don Roberts (Cheri) and Mary Ann Szymoniak (John); and his sister-in-law Judith Crawford Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
