He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herrmann and Arlene Herrmann (Sweger); his wife Sharon Howard; his stepsons, Tim, Jeff and Bobby Howard; and his brother Dwayne.
He is survived by: his former wife Valerie McCoy; his wife Susan Wynkoop Hickey; his sons, David Herrmann (Eileen) of Clinton and Doug Herrmann (Janelle) of Moline, IL; his stepchildren, Jim Hickey (Nadine) of Clinton, Joe Hickey of Sioux City, Kevin Pinkston of Clinton, Beth Howard Determan (Dennis) of Clinton and Erica Frederick of Clinton; his sisters, Kathy (Paul Lieving) of Rochelle and Andrea Fletcher (John) of Rochelle; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Herrmann of Rochelle. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
