He is survived by: his wife Carla Bartels of Clinton; his sons, Richard J. Bartels (Jen) of Batavia, IL and Brad Bartels (Juli) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Brian, Brynn and Nolan; and his sister Shirley Greathouse of Barberton, OH. He is also survived by three nieces & four nephews.
