He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kraciun and Helen Kraciun; his former wife Beverly Smith; and his siblings, Louis, Paul, George, John and Anne.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith; his children, Kathy and David (Jane) of Clinton; and his stepchildren, Cheryl Rettowski (Ted) of Clinton and Scott Smith (Betsy) of Clinton. He is also survived by sister, 4 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
