He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Bowman and Georgiana Bowman (Howell); his wife LaVonne Friske; and his daughter-in-law Kathy. He is survived by: his children, Gaylord Bowman of Clinton and Gaylene Hovey (David) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Dawn Bentley, Ryan Hovey (Brianna) and Alex Hovey (Aarika Koppenhaver); his great grandchildren, Kennedy and Delaney; and his sisters-in-law, Maye Nelson, Audrey Backeberg and Joan Bowman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
