She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Rininger and Jeanette Rininger (Reininger); her husband William A. Spencer; her granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah; and her siblings, JoAnn Myers, David Rininger, Kenneth Rininger and Bruce Rininger.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Spencer (Robin) and Mark Spencer (Judy) of Millsboro, DE; her grandchildren, Christopher Spencer (Melissa) of Des Moines, IA, Kristina Erickson (Lars) of Columbia, MD and Heather Moore (Martin) of Crofton, MD; her great grandchildren, Elise, George, Will, Anja and Saoirse; and her siblings, Gloria Fishburn of Avon and Jon Rininger (Grace) of Windham, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
