With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis M. Petersen of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William James and Catherine Kooi (Bigwood); her husband Donald Petersen; her children, Jimmy Hensel, Martha O'Brien and Eddie Hensel; and her siblings, James, L. Eugene Kooi, Helen and Janice Kooi.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hensel of Clinton and Cathy Melvin (Larry) of Clinton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
