He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Thomson and Shirley Thomson (Lamont); and his siblings, James Thomson of Clinton, Janet Thomson of Riverdale, CA, Greg Thomson of Clinton, Barb McKone (Bob) of Brookfield, WI and Donna Graziano (Ron) of Elgin, IL.

He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Thomson and Christopher Thomson (Shauna); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Logan, Evan and Dylan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
