He is survived by: his mother Martha Hayes (Koolbeck) of Clinton, IA; his brother John Thomas Hayes of Clinton, IA; and his aunts, Mary Morris of Hopkins, MN, Helen Jirak of Golden Valley, MN, Linda Byers (Larry) of McKinney, TX and Johanna Dvorak (Tom) of Cedarburg, WI.
