She was predeceased by: her parents, Orsen Howard and Myrel Howard (Tadsen); her husband James "Jim" R. Prestley; and her siblings, Janice Howard and Bob Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Thompson (Roy) of Fulton, IL and James Prestley (Cindy) of Dubuque, IA; her grandchildren, Matthew Thompson (Jenny) and Lindsay Thompson; her great grandchildren, Tayden, Keller and Kye Thompson; her sisters, Laurie Vulich (George) of Clinton, IA and Sandy Martin of Camanche, IA; and her sister-in-law Karen Endress (Bob) of Morrison, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
