It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ordean McDermott of Clinton, Iowa, born in Belmond, Iowa, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Mac" and Ursula McDermott (Lathrop); and his wife Phyllis Jean Gugelmeyer. He is survived by: his children, Dean McDermott, Jr. (Cindy) of Kansas City, Missouri, Sharon Warren (Carl) of Bozeman, Montana, Debra Anderson (Steve) of Golden, CO, Kurt McDermott (Carol) of Eldridge and Barb Zenger (Ken) of Burr Ridge, IL; and his brother Ronald McDermott (Carol) of Bettendorf. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
