He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Kratzer; his daughter Tara Jo Nord of DeWitt, Iowa; and his siblings, George Nord (Heidi) of Winnsboro, Carl Nord of Clinton, Iowa and Esther Ness of Lodi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elvira Zion Lutheran Church or to the Carroll County Humane Society of McKenzie, TN.
