We bid farewell to Neil A. Houzenga of Clinton, Iowa, born in Albany, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Neil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Houzenga and Katie Houzenga (Pessman); and his grandson Andy Rickertsen. He is survived by: his wife Julia J. Buxton; his children, Kathy Rickertsen (Terry) of Bryant, IA, Tim Houzenga of North Liberty, IA and Scott Houzenga (Rhonda) of Dahinda, IL; his grandchildren, Tanner Rickertsen, Tyler Houzenga, Megan Houzenga and Josh Houzenga; and his brother Harlan Houzenga (Joyce) of Fulton.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Fulton Chapel (1500 10th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
