She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gibson and Ella Mae Gibson (Miracle); her children, Mike and Maxine; and her daughter-in-law Mary.

She is survived by: her sons, Roy E. Brown of Clinton, IA and Herb Brown (Michelle) of Lawrenceville, GA; and her brother Bill Gibson (Deanna) of Clinton, IA.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
