He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Diercks; his nephews, Brandon and Collin; and his brother-in-law Richard. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Diercks (Cornilsen) of Clinton, IA; his siblings, Brenda Johnson of Thomson, IL, Rick Diercks (Kathy Schoel) of Clinton, IA, Carol Diercks of Clinton, IA, Kevin Diercks (Patti) of Andover, IA and Lisa Till (Tim) of Bellevue, IA; his nieces and nephews, Mike, Kristen, Jill, Jennifer, Kelli, Lindsey and Lauren; and his aunts, Darlene Schroeder, Selma Schilling (Bill) and Bernadine Cornilsen. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Andover Ambulance or Camp Courageous.
